Cider Pub Of The Year 2014

The votes have been counted and the winner is confirmed as The Steampacket in Swanwick.  Congratulations to them, they will now go forward into the East Midlands stage of the competition.

Cider Pub of The Year 2013

We are pleased to announce The Beehive, Peasehill as our Cider Pub Of the Year for 2013. The pub will now go forward to the East Midlands stage of the competition.

Our congratualtions go to the landlord and landlady, Steve (pictured above with Branch Chairman Chris Rogers) and Linda Creswell who have been in charge of the pub for over 20 years.  Since opening the Honey Pot in the former stables at the top end of the garden in August 2012, things have gone from strength to strength.

They regularly stock a number of ciders and perries from local and regional producers and from further afield.  They are one of the few truly dedicated cider and perry pubs in our area and very deserving of the award.
