AMBER VALLEY FESTIVAL BARS

Amber Valley CAMRA branch recently hosted very successful bars at two local festivals.

At Belper Goes Green we set up and ran a bar over 3 days in June, serving locale beers (from within 15 miles) and cider, a few of which were also local.

In July we again managed a bar over 4 days for The Eyes Have It music festival held on Eyes Meadow, Duffield.

Derbyshire Pub of the Year 2026

Many congratulations to the Dead Poets Inn, Holbrook which went on to win the competition for Derbyshire Pub of the Year. They now go through to the next round of the competition.

During 2025 we successfully undertook 8 social trips including to Hucknall, Sheffield Central, Kelham and Nottingham, plus a bus survey of outlying pubs in the west of our area. We have also run a bar at The Eyes Have It music festival and completed a comprehensive beer census of Belper area pubs.
