DESCRIPTION:We are running a pub crawl around Nottingham on the afternoon of SATURDAY 30 MAY and hope you can join us. \nIf you are interested\, meet us in the VAT & Fiddle between 1 pm and 1:45 pm. \nWe will then head south and visit some or all of the following: \n\nThe Embankment\nThe Trent Bridge Inn\nPoppy & Pint\nStratford Haven\nBrewhouse & Kitchen\nTrent Navigation Inn\n\nThe walk covering these pubs and back to the VAT and Fiddle is 4 miles in total.  However\, the longest walk between pubs is 0.8 miles so although there is a fair amount of walking in total\, there’s no big distance to cover in one go. \nThe pubs are ordered in a very specific way\, walking past some on the way to others to visit them on our way back into town. \nSee the route in the Google Map below for more info on the walk and distances: \nGoogle maps \nHere’s a link to the new CAMRA trip function with the pubs listed above: \nCAMRA Pubs

SUMMARY:The Eyes Have It Festival Duffield
DESCRIPTION:TEHI festival will be held at Duffield Eyes Meadow from Thursday 4th July to Sunday 8th July 2026. \nAmber Valley CAMRA will be running a Real Ale / Cider bar at the Eyes have it Music Festival\, which will take place from Thursday 2nd July until Sunday 5th July at the Eyes Meadow\, Duffield. There will be at least thirty real ales with a good mix of styles; many sourced locally; also at least twelve ciders. They will be reasonably priced too\, at £4.50 per pint across the board. Other tastes will be catered for with lager\, wine and soft drinks. There will be food vendors on site. \nThis is\, of course\, primarily a music festival with music on two stages throughout. Thursday evening will be acoustic\, starting at 7pm with lower admission prices. The main event starts on Friday\, through Saturday and until early evening on Sunday. It is strongly recommended that anyone wishing to attend should obtain an advance ticket\, available from the event website. \nThe festival is held in an idyllic setting on the banks of the river Derwent. What better way to spend an evening\, or even a whole weekend listening to the music and supping a pint. See you there.
